Cody Marsh joined the company in the spring of 2013, bringing several years of experience from a large contractor based out of New York City. His desire for efficiency and his ability to think outside of the box has been at the forefront of bringing new technology to the company. Graduating from the University of Maine with a degree in Civil Engineering, Cody’s tenure has been marked by an influx of bold ideas and a passion in keeping G.W. Tatro at the forefront of the newest theories in heavy civil engineering.

As an estimator and project supervisor, Cody is involved in all stages of the construction process- from estimation and planning to execution and close out. His work is influenced by three philosophies: build it safely, build it right, and have fun! Cody has accrued years of experience as a field engineer and estimator, having worked in various locations across the northeast, and dealing with projects ranging in size and scope from $2,000 to $200 Million. Upon graduating in 2010, he received his Engineer-Intern Certification and is now in the process of acquiring his Professional Engineer’s License.

Cody’s other passions in life include his lifelong love of baseball and especially his team, the Boston Red Sox. He is also an enthusiastic hockey fan, whether it’s the Boston Bruins or the team of his alma mater, the Maine Black Bears. Every spring he is involved with the family maple sugaring business, having worked in the woods since childhood. Each summer he can usually be found dabbling with his own homebrew recipes and cooking BBQ on the grill with his friends.

Cody comes to work each day with a renewed sense of passion for the work he does. Every new project invites a new set of challenges that have to be met and he strives for the opportunity to take them on each day.
