2002 CAT 325CL

           Our largest type of excavator for the medium class, the 2002 is also one of our oldest excavators. Though only a few tons heavier than the next excavator down in size (the 2017 323F), the 325CL is a much bigger machine.  It also outmatches the much larger Volvo 360BLC in sheer horsepower, which is an impressive feat.

                Mostly the 325CL spends its days at our quarry, helping to load rock into our trucks for delivery to various sites. We never hesitate to bring the 325CL out to help with a variety of things, from repairing ski trails to backfilling on a highway job.

We love this excavator because it’s one of those machines that keeps going strong with minimal maintenance, despite its age and 15,000 hours of use! Because of its seniority and reliability, the 2002 CAT 325CL is a sentimental machine to many.
