2009 CAT 299C

Details

The CAT 2009 299C is a whole different animal than our CASE 1845. Unlike the CASE, the 299C is a compact track loader. The biggest difference is that this piece of equipment has tracks and not wheels. This makes it great in soft and muddy spots because of its low ground pressure.

This loader is also double the horse power of the 1845, and double the weight (though, importantly, it’s not double the size). It’s also far more powerful and up-to-date in technology. The 299C is great for moving around on tight or restrictive sites in addition to the aforementioned sensitive areas. It is superb at transporting aggregates and can move pallets of materials with the additional forks that it can switch to.

Other handy things the 299C can do: it has a grapple bucket for pinching, so it can take on stumps, logs, and help with demolition jobs. And after a job like that is all done, the 299C can use the broom attachment for cleaning up job sites and roadways! In other words, from the set up to the final clean- up of a job, the 299C plays a pivotal role on the work site!
