                Our newest roller, the CAT CS34 roller is a pretty handy machine to have around. This smooth drum vibratory soil compactor is the smallest roller in our fleet. Its smaller size makes it ideally suited for projects with limited space and maneuverability, like sidewalks or tight road jobs. It can fit in the tightest of spaces and still get the job done. We’ve even used it inside buildings, like our pumphouse, for a few of our projects. This saves laborers from having to use hand compactors in all these hard-to-reach areas.

                The CS34 is an open cab machine, and the controls to it are very basic. “It’s pretty much off and on, and forward and backward,” our Equipment Manager, Justin Day, explains. But in its simplicity lies its magic: it does the job right, every time, and saves our clients time and money! If that doesn’t make the roller a worthy addition to our equipment fleet, then what does?
