H120CS CAT Rock Hammer

The H120CS rock hammer, while a small piece compared to most of our other equipment, weighs in at a surprising 2,866 pounds. This hammer can attach to our 320 and 323 excavators, and quickly too.  The 120CS Cat rock hammer allows us to chisel through sedimentary rock, metamorphic rocks and concrete. That makes our hammer great for work in road building, demolition, quarries, and various metallurgical applications. It also can get into sensitive areas where blasting isn’t possible. Also, this hammer uses CATERPILLER’s noise suppression technology, making this ideal for use in a residential environment or anywhere noise compliance is an issue.

The hammer is arguably the most essential piece of specialty equipment we have. It’s a tool that can be quickly attached to an excavator when we need to peck away or break up rock during a dig. We can rapidly knock the rock out of the way without having to call in blasters to blow the rock out of the way.
