LOCATION: Williston, VT
Aegis Renewable Energy contracted G.W. Tatro to help with the site work involved in the installation of a solar field at the old Fontaine sand pit in Williston, Vermont. Throughout summer of 2017, our (now retired) General Manager Marshall Leonard and a small crew of professionals worked to get the grounds prepared for the photovoltaic system. We also assisted in clean-up and smoothing of the site during and after Aegis’s work. Even though we encountered ledge during excavation, Aegis’s Chief Operations Officer said that Marshall and his team handled all obstacles with professionalism and vigor, and we completed the project within the utility energization parameters that were set out. G.W.
