VTN Rotobec SR Screening Bucket

The VTN Rotobec Rotary Screening Bucket is ideal for sifting through excavated earth. The excavator scoops material, and the bucket then spins the dirt through the screening bucket.  The material that is filtered out is very fine, and is thus useful bedding for trenches. The additional earth that remains after the screening process can be used for fill or discarded.  The Rotobec has screen sizes from ¾” to 2”, so we are sure to get exactly what material size we need.

            The screening bucket is especially helpful on mountain jobs, as they’re on such remote sites. If there is any pipeline work required, we need usually need materials hauled in for the bedding material. That means the aggregate needs to be trucked to the job, offloaded and brought up the mountain by one of our offroad vehicles. With the screening bucket, we can make our own material right there at the trench out of the excavated materials. This saves our clients time and money!

    In addition, maintenance for the screening bucket is a dream, and switching buckets is very easy for the operator. All in all, the Rotobec screening bucket adds greatly to our speed and production.
